We would like to present the finding from an audit done across acute and community settings in a large tertiary children’s hospital.
The Recommended Summary Plan for Emergency Care and Treatment (ReSPECT) is a process widely practised from 2016 onwards in England and Scotland.1 ReSPECT process creates personalised emergency care plans for use across health and care settings through conversations between a person, their families and their health and care professionals.2 The ReSPECT form is not legally binding and does not replace a conversation in the emergency.
