    ‘Rediscovering Holism’ is the name that the organising committee has chosen for the 11th Palliative Care Congress which is due to be held in Glasgow in March 2016. This conference is the biannual event organised in partnership by the Association of Palliative Medicine and the Palliative Care Research Society. Why have we called it this? Because it voices the dilemma and choice facing palliative care as our society changes into the future.
